The solution

Located on the island of Saaremaa in Estonia, the Kõljala farm called on the SHELTERALL® teams to cover the straw for its livestock. Two SHELTERALL®, 15 m in width and 30 m in length, were installed.

With a height at the ridge of 8.35 m, the storage hangar offers an ideal volume for storing fodder. The fodder is stored in dry and perfectly ventilated conditions, thanks to the tunnel effect in this open shed. The better-quality fodder means higher quality production at lower costs.

The request was quite urgent, as Kõljala wanted to cover all its straw bales before August, which is the rainy month in Saaremaa.

The farm particularly appreciated the responsiveness of the SHELTERALL® teams, who were able to offer a turnkey solution capable of withstanding the strong winds on the island of Saaremaa, delivered and erected in less than two months.

In response to the urgency of the customer’s request, and despite the summer season, the first shed was delivered within two weeks.

This challenge was met with the support of our local distributors. Fully satisfied with this first project, Kõljala is planning to install additional fodder storage sheds as well as livestock breeding tunnels.

Success story
Let our customers do the talking

"Shelterall 24/7. Anytime, anywhere. I appreciate the perfect ventilation provided by the SHELTERALL® and there is much less condensation than in the competition’s sheds."
