The solution

The SHELTERALL® teams completely fitted out the storage site:

- An uncovered area for incoming materials awaiting reprocessing, in separate compartments to ensure traceability every month;

- A covered area for inert materials ready for reuse.

For this project, three 15 m x 20 m SHELTERALL® were installed, creating a covered area of 900 m².

A total of 1,666 concrete blocks were installed to create the various covered and uncovered storage areas. To improve the strength and lifespan of the structure, wall noses, bonding and corner blocks were added.

The 15 m SHELTERALL® model, mounted on 4.80 m walls, has a suitable height for unloading that makes it easy to work with machinery inside the storage sheds.

Our teams are experts in the development of storage areas for waste processing and they were able to offer a turnkey solution with SHELTERALL® sheds and TOUTABLOC® concrete blocks. As a result, REMEX worked with a single partner to ensure a comprehensive approach to the project, as well as optimized support and worksite supervision.

Keen to ensure the quality and durability of its installations, REMEX wanted to engage the project management services of a national design office. Our in-house design department specializing in SHELTERALL® and TOUTABLOC® solutions made all the difference. On the basis of static and concrete studies, we could reassure the customer, offer advice on the right dimensions and provide guarantees for the storage and strength of the walls.

Fully satisfied with the installations and relations with the SHELTERALL® teams, six projects are currently being studied in France, Germany and Poland.
