The solution
The Mas de Combe equestrian center opted for SHELTERALL® modular buildings to install a tarpaulin-covered riding arena.
In order to comply with town planning constraints, the SHELTERALL® teams proposed a customized solution, specifically adapted to the existing riding arena. An extra-wide SHELTERALL®, 25 m wide and 33 m long, was installed. For the well-being of the riders and their horses, a white tarpaulin was installed, providing optimum brightness thanks to the uniform natural light..
It also helps to reduce temperatures. A riding arena where it is cooler in summer and warmer in winter, so riders can enjoy their passion regardless of the weather conditions.
It also optimizes sound insulation. It offers better conditions for instructors and riders, and reduces stress for the horses.
As this is an open structure, this installation fully complies with public-access building standards to level 5, and can accommodate riders and their horses in complete safety.
Martine Bonet, the manager of Mas de Combe, explains that SHELTERALL® is a “solution for the future” that meets all the needs of equestrian centers: “We initially wanted to equip this riding arena to avoid having to cancel lessons. In summer, it is difficult to operate after midday because it is too hot. In terms of soundproofing, it meets all the criteria! The white tarpaulin cover allows plenty of light in. This means that we can work until the end of the day. It checked all our boxes!”
