The solution
To build a railway line in the town of Ambilly in Haute-Savoie, COLAS RAIL needed a sheltered area for the worksite’s machinery maintenance and equipment storage.
Our SHELTERALL® teams installed two sheds, mounted on shipping containers. The containers are used as a base for anchoring and raising the sheds, to cover machinery and large equipment, and secure small equipment inside the locked containers.
Very quick to install and dismantle thanks to the Twist-Lock system (galvanized beams attached to the four corners of the container), these container sheds offer a temporary adaptation to this worksite for a limited period of time.
The container sheds meet the Building Eurocodes standards. For this project, they were specifically designed to help COLAS RAIL better withstand the elements.
Custom flocking on the front on the shed's half-moon was included to give the group visibility on the worksite.
The options for this project
- Mixed gable
- Tarpaulin
- Mesh
- Half-moon
- Flocking
"The container Shelterall is the ideal worksite shed: it is easy to mount thanks to its floor assembly method and its attachment to the 4 iso corner castings of the container. Its very robust design and flexibility mean that it can be used again for your different projects."
